Green Party: Recount Timeline

By Ohio statutory law, a recount cannot take place until 5 days after notice is given to all candidates in the race. Notice cannot be given until the vote is certified. If the vote is certified on the 6th, and proper notice is given, the recount will start on the 11th.

Although the electors meet on the 13th of December, Congress won't receive the votes until January 6th when a challenge could be made if the vote in Ohio flips.

We are in the process of organizing hundreds and hundreds of volunteers. It is a massive effort which is happening in a very short time frame.
