Editorial: Rigging Elections is a Crime

As this Ohio citizen reminded us, when he protested at the steps of the Ohio State House last year:

Rigging elections is indeed a crime, and it is the most heinous crime you can commit in a democracy, because it cuts us to the quick. It goes to the core of the great freedoms our country is supposed to be about.

We are indeed pleased to learn that two of those responsible for preventing a lawful recount in Cuyahoga County have been indicted, and we are confident that there will be many more such indictments as the truth comes out.

We are likewise pleased that John Kerry and John Edwards have chosen to stay in the federal recount case, and fight alongside David Cobb and Michael Badnarik for our American way of life.

This was a good day for America.
