Calendar of Events (updated 12/6, 1:40 a.m. EST)

Today through Friday, December 10th. Sit-in, picketing, and demonstrations in front of Blackwell's office. Columbus, OH.

11:00 a.m., Secretary of State Blackwell's office, 180 East Broad Street.
In an effort to have free and fair elections we will picket Ken Blackwell's office (180 E. Broad Street) tomorrow on Monday, December 6 thru Friday, December 11 at 11am to 5pm. We are asking him to start the recount, recuse himself from the recount, appear at the Judiciary Hearing about fraud in Ohio, and to not certify electors until the recount is finished. Ken Blackwell has done everything to throw this election and is now running the clock on the recount. This is not about Kerry or Bush, this is about having fair elections that we can trust, where we are represented by people that actually won the election. As Jesse Jackson recently said, “you can’t have the owner of the team and the referee be the same person.” Ken Blackwell is the Co-chair of Relect Bush-Cheney and has refused to step down.

Bring signs, American flags, noisemaking pots and pans, tambourines, props, etc. warm clothes and a tent if you have one or can borrow one. We are prepared to picket and stay until we have a fair election. No more stolen elections!!! Bring your chants and songs. We will tent camp for freedom and fair elections. We are especially asking veterans to come in uniform if possible, because we feel you have an elevated status by having fought for freedom. Come by on your lunch hour or whenever you can make it and bring clothes and sleeping bags to donate. Mainly we need many people to show up ready to stop Ken Blackwell from stealing our election.

Wednesday, December 8th. FBI Rally. White Plains, NY.

12:00 noon. FBI office at 222 Bloomingdale Road in White Plains at the intersection of Mamaroneck Avenue.
Take a long lunch hour, bring the kids, bring grandma, grandpa and Aunt Agatha, change your plans, or do whatever else is necessary to be there. At this moment, there is a desperate need for publicity to support the work of people in Ohio who are gathering impressive evidence of widespread vote tampering and conspiracy to suppress the vote. Evidence of vote tampering has been given to the FBI in Ohio, but it is not clear that the agency is doing anything. This rally Wednesday has the full support and encouragement of people in Ohio because they feel that it is only through publicity and public pressure that there will be a recount there and an investigation by the FBI.It is essential that we get into the street at this time to show that we will not accept this election until there is a full investigation and recount. If you have time, please make a sign, example, "Investigate Vote Fraud Now". Do all possible to come on Wednesday. We really need numbers, over a hundred if at all possible. We must defend our rights at this moment. The opportunity to act on this will be very brief. Last Friday the FBI refused to "accept" the written complaint which we'd delivered; so we're coming back again. For information, please call Nick Mottern at (914) 806-6179.

<Saturday, December 11th. Rally to Protest Media Blackout of Vote Fraud. Denver, CO.
12:00 noon. Colorado State Capitol building, west steps (Colfax Ave and Lincoln St. in Denver). Bring kids, friends, drums and spirit. Come let the media know what you think of their cowardice and complicity. Does it make any sense that media mutes coverage of widespread vote fraud reportage here in Colorado and the U.S. while getting all hopped up about election irregularities in Ukraine?

Speakers and music are being arranged, but will include experts on computer and vote security from Coloradoans for Voting Integrity
(http://cfvi.org) and speakers with contact from the recount campaigns in Ohio, Florida, New Mexico and New Hampshire.

After the rally, we'll march to the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post offices and provide them with fact sheets and stories on electronic vote fraud.

SPECIAL NOTE:
Ohio is the single swing state in which there are major litigations and a recount pending, and enough electors to change the outcome of the presidential race. Thanks to the valiant fight going on in Ohio, the 2004 Election is not over.

Thousands of volunteers are needed in Ohio to assist the Green Party and the Libertarian Party with the Recount, and tens of thousands of demonstrators are needed to call the attention of the national media to the outrage that was committed there. So I urge everyone to stay focussed on Ohio.

Generalized activities geared to long range election reform, or 'anti-inaugurals' to blow off steam, are a luxury; specific actions, geared towards getting justice in Ohio NOW, are a necessity.

Although this calendar mentions events going on in other states, I urge everyone who is not in Ohio to make it his or her first priority to come to Ohio to participate in the protests and/or the Recount.

If you participate in events in other states, I strongly urge you to focus the attention of the event towards the very provable Ohio election crimes, and if you wish to contribute financially, please concentrate on the organizations that are doing important work on the ground in Ohio, such as C.A.S.E., the National Voting Rights Institute, and the Green Party Recount.

Sincerely yours,

R. B.
