Based upon the vote machine tampering by Triad Systems in Hocking County, John Kerry's lawyers have requested Secretary of State Blackwell to (a) investigate the matter, (b) impound and preserve the tabulating equipment and programs, (c) conduct a full hand recount, and (d) review with all other boards of elections whether voting machine representatives were made aware of which precincts would be recounted in the 3 percent recount, and if so taking corrective action such as permitting examination by independent outside experts or directing full hand recounts.
