Calendar of events (updated 12/7, 6:55 p.m.EST)

Today through Friday, December 10th. Demonstration and

Picketing in Front of Sec. Blackwell's Office. Columbus, OH.

11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. daily. Demonstration & picketing (on the public

sidewalk, not on private property) in front of Secretary of State

Blackwell's office. Borden Building, 180 East Broad Street, Columbus,

Ohio. We are asking Blackwell to start the recount, recuse himself from

the recount, appear at the Judiciary Hearing about fraud in Ohio, and

to certify electors only after the recount is finished.

Bring signs, American flags, noisemaking pots and pans, tambourines,

props, etc. warm clothes and a tent if you have one or can borrow one.

We are prepared to picket and stay until we have a fair election. No

more stolen elections!!! Bring your chants and songs. We will tent

camp for freedom and fair elections. We are especially asking veterans

to come in uniform if possible, because we feel you have an elevated

status by having fought for freedom. Come by on your lunch hour or

whenever you can make it and bring clothes and sleeping bags to donate.

Mainly we need many people to show up ready to stop Ken Blackwell from

stealing our election.

Tuesday, December 7th. Candlelight Vigil in Support of Ohio,

"Investigate All 88". Washington, D.C.

7:00 p.m. - 10:00

p.m. Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool. It is time we support the Ohio

voters and call:

for a joint bipartisan investigation of irregularities in the 2004

Ohio Election;
to postpone the meeting of the Electoral College until a thorough

investigation is completed;
to bring to national attention any and all wrongdoing and illegal

practices of the voting process;
to bring violators to justice;
to remedy the situation by holding new elections.

Sponsored by "Investigate All 88" Contact information:

Wednesday, December 8th. FBI Rally. White Plains, NY.

12:00 noon. FBI office at 222 Bloomingdale Road in White Plains at the

intersection of Mamaroneck Avenue.
Take a long lunch hour, bring the kids, bring grandma, grandpa and Aunt

Agatha, change your plans, or do whatever else is necessary to be

there. At this moment, there is a desperate need for publicity to

support the work of people in Ohio who are gathering impressive

evidence of widespread vote tampering and conspiracy to suppress the

vote. Evidence of vote tampering has been given to the FBI in Ohio, but

it is not clear that the agency is doing anything. This rally Wednesday

has the full support and encouragement of people in Ohio because they

feel that it is only through publicity and public pressure that there

will be a recount there and an investigation by the FBI.It is essential

that we get into the street at this time to show that we will not

accept this election until there is a full investigation and recount.

If you have time, please make a sign, example, "Investigate Vote Fraud

Now". Do all possible to come on Wednesday. We really need numbers,

over a hundred if at all possible. We must defend our rights at this

moment. The opportunity to act on this will be very brief. Last Friday

the FBI refused to "accept" the written complaint which we'd delivered;

so we're coming back again. For information, please call Nick Mottern

at (914) 806-6179.

Wednesday, December 8. Hearing Conducted by Congressman Conyers.

Washington, D.C.

10:00 a.m. Rayburn House OFfice Building.

hearing to investigate allegations of vote fraud and irregularities in

Ohio during the 2004 Presidential election. The hearing is slated to

Washington DC. Democratic Representatives Melvin Watt and Robert Scott

will also be centrally involved with the hearing. Rev. Jesse Jackson

American Way), Jon Greenbaum (Director, Voting Rights Project, Lawyers

Forum on Election Fraud

"Votergate" Documentary and PowerPoint Presentation

How could the exit polls have been so wrong? Did tampering with
electronic voting machines and voter disenfranchisement swing the
election to Bush? Come learn more about these issues as we watch
"Votergate" and a PowerPoint presentation on election irregularities.
Votergate, an action documentary, follows a young team on their
nationwide investigation of the current problems with our voting
systems and elections procedures. Fast-paced and engaging, Votergate
reveals the shocking story of how touchscreen voting systems are
highly susceptible to hacking and how these systems are being
implemented across the country without the proper checks and balances
to insure accuracy and accountability

http://www.votergate.org/>http://www.votergate.org/

Following the half-hour documentary will be a PowerPoint presentation
on election irregularities and an action planning session.

Saturday, December 11th. Rally to Protest Media Blackout of Vote

Fraud. Denver, CO.

12:00 noon. Colorado State Capitol

building, west steps (Colfax Ave and Lincoln St. in Denver). Bring

kids, friends, drums and spirit. Come let the media know what you think

of their cowardice and complicity. Does it make any sense that media

mutes coverage of widespread vote fraud reportage here in Colorado and

the U.S. while getting all hopped up about election irregularities in

Ukraine?

Speakers and music are being arranged, but will include experts on

computer and vote security from Coloradoans for Voting Integrity

(http://cfvi.org) and speakers with

contact from the recount campaigns in Ohio, Florida, New Mexico and New

Hampshire.

After the rally, we'll march to the Rocky Mountain News and Denver Post

COMMENTS: Gather with us to send a loud, clear message to our fellow

citizen electors. Demand more of America! Demand a fair and accurate

count of every citizens vote! It is ludicrous to us, that our elected

Representatives in Washington dare to speak of unfair elections in

Ukraine when the elections of 2004 right here in America were so

obviously flawed with allegations of disenfranchisement stretching from

Coast to Coast. Do not let it be said that the citizens of America did

not fight for their Democracy! We must speak out NOW, while we are

still able. Join us!

THIS

CALENDAR IS FREQUENTLY UPDATED; IF YOU CAME TO THIS THROUGH A LINK FROM

AN EMAIL OR OTHER WEB SITE, BE SURE TO CHECK FOR MORE RECENT VERSION OF

CALENDAR

SPECIAL NOTE:
Ohio is the single swing state in which all of the following factors come together: (1) massive systematic voter suppression, (2) computer vote fraud, (3) major litigations pending, (4) a recount pending, and (5) enough electors to change the outcome of the

presidential race. Thanks to the valiant fight going on in Ohio, the

2004 Election is not over.

Thousands of volunteers are needed in Ohio to assist the Green Party

and the Libertarian Party with the Recount, and tens of thousands of

demonstrators are needed to call the attention of the national media to

the outrage that was committed there. So I urge everyone to stay

focussed on Ohio.

Generalized activities geared to long range election reform, or 'anti-

inaugurals' to blow off steam, are a luxury; specific actions, geared

towards getting justice in Ohio NOW, are a necessity.

Although this calendar mentions events going on in states other than Ohio, I urge

everyone who is not in Ohio to make it his or her first priority to

come to Ohio to participate in the protests and/or the Recount.

If you participate in events in other states, I strongly urge you to

focus the attention of the event towards the very provable Ohio

election crimes. And if you wish to contribute financially, please

support the organizations that are doing important work on the

ground in Ohio, such as C.A.S.E., the National Voting Rights Institute,

and the Green Party Recount, and please give to DefendTheRecount.org.

Sincerely yours,

R. B.
